Our members and their invited colleagues, family, and friends discover brand-new, excess inventory from upscale brands and retailers holding UK surplus stock across 25 consumer goods categories. We've established the UK's largest online 'friends and family' flash sale platform, keeping excess stock clearance within the retail community and out of the public eye.

As mandated by our partner brands and retailers, we do not publicly advertise our sales, reveal partner brands, or promote trov.uk. Growth is driven solely by UK retail and brand employees sharing referral links with colleagues and family. Registered members receive flash sale notifications via WhatsApp, tailored to their selected categories, containing a private shopping link. Once in the sale, members can quickly view brands and products and complete their purchases.

The name 'trov' originates from 'treasure trove,' symbolising hidden treasures. This reflects both the private deals members find and the value brands and retailers unlock by pulsing surplus inventory through trov.uk on a monthly basis.

Launched as "UK Inventory Liberation Day" on 3 April 2025 with 3,000 London-based retail employee members, we are now open to all retail and brand employees and their families across the UK.

The UK retail industry is facing a perfect storm. trov.uk sales are private and accessible only through a unique link sent directly to you via WhatsApp. Make sure your registered WhatsApp number is up-to-date in your account settings, as this is essential for accessing our exclusive flash sales – you won't find them on our homepage!

In the unlikely event WhatsApp experiences an outage, we'll temporarily switch to SMS or email to ensure you don't miss out on a particular sale, until the issue is resolved (as per our Terms of Service).

Only if you select all the categories in your account preferences! With over 25 to choose from, make sure your selections match what you're interested in. We only send WhatsApp links for flash sales within your chosen categories, so you won't be bothered by irrelevant alerts. Plus, stay tuned – you'll soon be able to refine your notifications even further by size!

We feature a maximum of one flash sale event per day, showcasing a single brand or retailer's offerings. These events can range from a single hero product to a curated selection, or even a brand or retailer's entire UK product portfolio.

While we limit events to one daily, we don't hold a sale every day. trov.uk flash sale events are scheduled by global and domestic brands and retailers with UK based excess stock that they need to move off their books. We sometimes receive only a few hours' notice before they upload products to our platform.

trov isn't a typical e-commerce platform where you can shop at any time. It's a service designed for brands and retailers to discreetly clear excess stock to a specific market segment: retail and brand industry employees. Depending on the number of product categories you select in your account settings, you may receive as few as one private sale link a month, or as many as 30.

Sales run for 1-12 hours, depending on what the featured brand or retailer decides. Why the time limit? It's all about keeping things private and exclusive. These limited-time events ensure our flash sale events don't get listed on social media or scraped by sales sites. trov.uk deals are just for our registered members.

Yes. Unless specifically sated in the product description, everything sold on trov.uk is brand-new, non-returned excess stock, straight from the participating brand or retailer's UK distribution facility.

No. All sales are final. We offer incredible discounts (50-85% off original SRP) in exchange for all sales being final on this members-only (non-public) platform. Be absolutely sure you want what you're buying before you order.

Your purchases will be shipped directly from the brand or retailer's UK-based 3PL or distribution centre.

Please refer to the product page for specific shipping details on the items you are buying. Shipping times vary depending on the brand/retailer and your location. You'll receive tracking information once your order has been processed. As all orders are shipped from within the UK to UK addresses selected by our members, shipping is often under 5 business days.

trov.uk ships orders exclusively to UK addresses. To mitigate the rising risk of home delivery package theft in the UK, we strongly recommend using an official nearby 'pickup location' or your workplace address instead of your home. Neither we nor our partner brands and retailers are liable for delivery theft.

No. trov.uk only ships from UK-based stores and distribution centres to UK addresses.

In checkout, we accept only the most widely used credit card, debit card and ecommerce payment options. We do not offer Klarna or other financing options. We are an all-sales-final members-only platform, so total order cost must be paid in full at time of order. Please note, as an all-sales-final, members-only platform, neither trov.uk nor its participating brands and retailers offer returns or refunds.

We use only secure payment processing provided through our partner, Shopify, the world’s largest ecommerce platform.

Our brand and retailer partners set order limits per item. You'll find the specific unit count limit in the product description on each product page. Some items have a purchase limit of one unit and some items have no limits.

trov.uk was founded in early 2025 by Ash Huzenlaub, a seasoned entrepreneur and the founder of a luxury consumer goods brand. Over the past five years, Ash has worked closely with numerous upscale and luxury brands based in London – both thriving and facing challenges. This close collaboration provided a firsthand view of the unprecedented levels of ageing excess inventory these brands are currently burdened with. This surge is fuelled by a perfect storm of issues in the UK, including Brexit, the cost of living crisis, lower consumer confidence in non-food categories, and a global tariff war, all contributing to record levels of unsold upscale consumer goods.

The sheer scale of the problem became starkly apparent in October 2024 when Huzenlaub toured a 1.2 million sq ft warehouse, discovering millions of ageing upscale and luxury items stacked floor to ceiling from over 50 global brands. These brands and retailers were incurring significant storage fees on stagnant goods. Historically, the industry practice was to destroy excess inventory, a method that is no longer sustainable or permissible, particularly for environmentally conscious B Corps.

Recognising the urgent need for a viable alternative, and coordinating with UK-based 3PLs and inventory planners across multiple brands, Huzenlaub invested to launch trov.uk. The platform serves as a crucial 'pressure valve', offering a discreet and efficient solution for brands and retailers, including those undergoing Administration (AMA processes), to quickly raise capital by selling excess inventory without the brand visibility associated with traditional clearance channels.

A key insight driving this solution was the strong reluctance of many brands, especially in apparel, beauty, and consumer goods, to see their products devalued in public online or high street discount shops, fearing significant brand dilution. trov.uk directly addresses these challenges by providing a private, invitation-based platform that connects these brands with a discerning community of industry insiders and their networks.
